First Day of Blogging

I am not quite sure what all this is about. I have very little recent web experience and am trying to catch up with what I've missed in the past year, 'blogging' being one of those things. This is my first post so I will keep it short and sweet.

I hope to include some of my thoughs about current events and sites I visit, etc. Nothing special I am guessing. Most I would assume do the same thing and I'm not sure if why anyone would want to view my site, but here goes it anyway.
